Does anyone know of a resource where people still behind ipv4 services
can test ipv6 enabled sites? Even if I could just get a screenshot, that
would be a relief!

Cheers,

Steve

Hi Steve,

You could try an IPv6 tunnel broker.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IPv6_tunnel_brokers

SixXs http://www.sixxs.net/ (aiccu)
Hurricane http://tunnelbroker.net/ (Non-native support in ez-ipupdate) and
gogo6's Freenet6 http://gogonet.gogo6.com/page/freenet6-ipv6-services(gogoc)

all seem to have connectivity applications available in the Debian
repositories so should be available in Ubuntu as well.

I haven't tried any of these so would be interested in hearing how you get
on.

HTH

I've used gogonet. Seemed OK. I've just started to experiment with IPV6
on the home network.

Cheers,

Cliff

hi Steve,

Best way is to get an IPv6 tunnel provider so you can setup an IPv6
network until your ISP finally decided to move into the 21st century :-)

I've been using http://tunnelbroker.net/ and found it pretty good so
far. :-)

If you're on Debian/Ubuntu/probably other distros, you can install 'merido'
which will give you a tunneled IPv6 address. Quite handy for bypassing NAT,
too.
