Hi Everyone,
As I've probably mentioned, I'm involved with a school nowadays.
Actually, it's 7 schools and will eventually be 2,500 netbooks. I'm
not sure what the numbers are at the moment.
We've got a problem. None of the sound inputs work on the netbooks.
The inbuilt microphone doesn't work and neither does the combo-audio
plug. The netbook model in question is an Asus 1001px. There's 2
outstanding bug reports for Ubuntu on the issue. I've asked the
director of the project to lean on the vendor to get some support from
Asus. He also asked me to see if there was anyone in NZ who might be
able to help with this issue. I've haven't had much luck myself. There
seem to be 101 solutions out there, some of which work for some
people.
So is there anyone out there who might be able to help?
Regards,
Nevyn
