Hi guys,
I've come across a number of organisations (not just NZOSS chapters)
that have a need for some sort of national comm's exchange, so that
meetings & events can be shared over some sort of teleconference facility.
One simple example would be maker/hackerspaces.
I'm only able to attend every 2nd TangleBall meeting, but would like to
be part of the discussion from my home-office when I'm unable to attend
in person.
There are also now a growing number of other such spaces all around the
country, and to set up (secure) channels of communication between groups
could be pretty fantastic.
Archiving such interactions could also be handy.
Should we rely on online services, such as the aforementioned
freeconferencecallhd.com , or should we look at building our own
solution, like BigBlueButton (or something similar), to be used by
aligned groups?
Realistic/feasible?
Ideas?
